Programs & Curriculum
What will my child learn at Little Angels Preschool?
At Little Angels, children develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, creatively, and physically through hands-on play, daily art, music, cooking projects, and a Pre-K program that builds the phonics, math, and confidence skills needed to thrive in kindergarten

Classes
Roly Poly Class
Age 18 Months
In our youngest toddler class, the Roly Poly Class, your little one can channel their boundless energy and curiosity in a safe and stimulating environment. As professional, patient, and attentive caregivers, we will help guide your child through this period of immense growth, fostering their cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development through everyday art explorations, block building, music & movement, story time, and active outdoor playtime. Tailoring the environment to your child's emerging interests and growing abilities, we will also lovingly encourage and support your young toddler through important early milestones, from “self-help” skills such as handwashing, using utensils, and putting away their toys, to socializing, expressing emotions, and expanding their language!
Ladybug Class
Age 2 Years
In the Ladybug Class, children are introduced to school in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. The Ladybugs focus on social and emotional growth, along with nurturing the development of each unique individual. Throughout the day we offer a variety of hands-on sensory and art activities. During free play, children are encouraged to explore all classroom areas: Cognitive, Block, Dramatic Play, Self-Help Art, and Book Area. We also have Circle Time daily, which includes songs, movement, stories, and learning concepts. One day a month, our director takes over Circle Time for "Bible Time," where simple, positive Bible stories are told. Our children spend a lot of time outdoors and they do so in a separate yard from our other classes, with structures and equipment geared for 2- to 3-year-old children. Our teachers will change diapers in this class and assist with potty training.
Bumblebee Class
Age 3 Years
The Bumblebee Class will explore many things through play in a safe and loving environment. Each day, the children can explore the following classroom areas: Music, Blocks, Dramatic Play, Cognitive, Self-Help Art, Science, and Reading. Art is offered daily, as well as weekly cooking projects. The children are exposed to various cognitive concepts in Circle Time, and one day a month, our director takes over Circle Time for "Bible Time," where simple, positive Bible stories are told. On Wednesdays and Thursdays each week, we have music time with our music teacher, Mr. Jon.
Butterfly Class
Age 4 Years
The Butterfly Class is our Pre-Kindergarten class and prepares students for kindergarten in a fun and engaging way! We focus on one letter per week, with art, cooking, and phonics activities around that letter. We also have 30 minutes of learning centers each morning, during which students rotate through three stations: phonics/writing, a math game, and a cognitive or listening activity. Despite being slightly more academic than the Ladybug and Bumblebee classes, our Butterfly students still receive a lot of time for free play inside the classroom and in our large outdoor spaces. We have regular music time with our music teacher, Mr. Jon. One day a month, our director leads “Chapel,” where simple, positive Bible stories are told. We also have students do a monthly show & tell to build their confidence in speaking to a group. Our low teacher-student ratio ensures that students receive the care and attention they deserve, and our Butterflies leave this class ready to tackle Kindergarten.
