Our teachers are certified and experienced in the field of Early Childhood Education. We believe that the most important qualification of a staff member is a genuine and visible love for children.
My name is Mary Lopez and I have been the Director of Little Angels Preschool since its opening in September 2002. I graduated from the Early Childhood Education Program at Santa Barbara City College and am First Aid and CPR certified.
I worked as a teacher/director for 13 years at another local preschool that closed and many years teaching preschool before that. I am one of the founding staff members of Little Angels and so proud of it! I have worked with many of the teachers for years, even before Little Angels. I feel so blessed to have been able to stay together all these years.

Being the director's daughter, I have been a part of Little Angels and a preschool environment my entire life. I taught at LAPS for two years with Cindy in the Ladybug Classroom, left for one year to grow more as a teacher, and now I'm back!!
I have been teaching for almost 6 years now and can't imagine myself doing anything different! In my free time, I like to spend time with my new nephew, watch movies, explore the outdoors and go on adventures with my boyfriend.
